Ameesha, the Australian beauty, is wearing a soft lilac coat from Zara and her bag she bought in her home country of Australia. Even on a snowy day she is keeping warm with a long sweater as a dress, long socks and rain boots.

Stripes on the Streetcar
I really like that Michelle was brave enough to layer stripes on stripes and it actually worked, in a bohemian artistic sort of way. As per usual, I waited until the worst moment to ask her for a picture, yet she was gracious enough to work with me while I awkwardly took this picture while balancing myself on the steps of the moving TTC vehicle. Her pants are from H&M, vest from Black Market on Queen and her jacket is Value Village.

Local Talent
Weirdly enough I ran into three Ryerson fashion students in different location in the city on the same day. First I met Paige and Alex in the halls of the University. Paige, on the right, is wearing a shirt from French Connection, vest from Urban Behavior, purse by a local designer called Hoibo, necklace is from a Canadian designer that she bought online called Hoakon. Alex, on the left, is wearing a shirt from French Connection, vest from Forever 21, boots from browns and a Dolce purse.
Then in Kensington I ran into another Ryerson fashion student named Grace. Wearing a vintage fur vest, purse from H&M, and her jacket is from a local designer called Remix, which is sold in a store on Queen East, she is a perfect example of how to layer black on black. Having many textures and fabrics while wearing the same color gives the outfit depth and character.

Tattoo Rock
My friend Laura hunted these people down for me in Tattoo Rock. JJ bought her coat at H&M, shirt from French Connection, earrings from a Hippy store in Montreal, and her pants are from Aritzia. Andrew is an employee at Tattoo Rock. His hat is from The Bay, shirt he found in a box in the back of Rebox Records in Philadelphia, and everything else is second hand from friends or vintage stores.

The Bovine
I ran into these two ladies one night at the Bovine Sex Club. They fit into this downtown rocker club very well. Ola is dominatrix-like in black and got her dress from BB.
Ash, a bass player, is posing statue-like (in the bathroom, which I love) and wearing a coat found at Salvation Army, her hat from Winners and the black wrist covers are old socks that she cut up.
Both of these ladies are rocking out the Fashion to the T way.

Spray-painted
I met Jessi on King W. hanging out with his friends. His cool swagger and casual style made him an instant target for me. Not even his entrance into the Hasty Market prevented me from chasing him down with my camera. His pants and jacket are from Urban Outfitters (where he works) and his jacket is covered in paint because he does graffiti. Wearing the remnants of his art is the Fashion to the T way.

Glad in Plaid
I spotted Mona in front of A-1 discount on Dundas, the classiest spot in the world, wearing the cutest plaid. Her sweater underneath is a throwback to her mom's 70's days, her mom passed it down to her and the bright yellow works so well with the red plaid jacket. Her boots are from Kensington Market from a store called Flashback, her Plaid from Value Village and her jeans were purchased in a store on Queen W.

Playing Dead
I ran into Bean (yes like the vegetable she explained to me) very close to my house in Toronto. Her fashion is exactly to the T. She designs for a local fashion line called Play Dead, and I can't see any other way to walk your dog. Her hat is from ebay, scarf and coat from Vintage 69 on Queen W, her boots were purchased online and her hand muff was a present from a friend.

Be yourself
One of my favorite things about this city is how individual people are. We have a wide variety of cultures and mixes of people from all walks of life. I met Aliza on the subway, and after starring her down for 5 minutes I finally approached her on the Bloor/University platform. She got her coat from Anthropology in New York and the rest of the clothes were vintage finds. The conductor hat and red 3/4 sleeve jacket with yellow jumper underneath are what got me. I love it when people take risks with color, especially in winter.
I was walking down the street and b-lined it to Marcell's jewelry. I bought a necklace from him that he carved himself. I was also overtaken with lust for his beautiful mane of hair. I love a man who knows how to care for such a coif. In his culture having long hair is the norm, I think one should always stick to their roots and be themselves.

Pimpin' shoes at work
My co-workers have all been trying to convince me that their outfits should be Fashion to the T worthy but Mike was the only one to convince me with his shoes. Its not just the Ed Hardy's that got me it's his casual style in general that he's always carrying in our work setting. These shoe's match his outgoing personality and are perfectly fitting because of how inappropriate they are for working in an office.

Doing the Dishes Fashion to the T way
Love my roomate Jussi who always looks fashionable, even while doing the dishes. His hair is always perfect and his clothes pristine. His pants are H&M, jumper is admitedly stolen from a friend or what he calls "free vintage", scarf is Urban Behaviour (although he didn't want to admit it) and his necklace, which is my favourite, was purchased from a homeless man on the street.

New Years
Who doesn't like to bring in the new year with a little Fashion to the T. I met this girl Alicia at a party I attended in a loft dtown. I was staring at her the whole night and finally, with a little liquid courage, asked her if I could take a pic of her for my first entry.
Her eclectic dress was was a combination between old and new pieces that she used to mix and match this amazing outfit. I truly feel that this girl represents everything that I love about Toronto. She was fashionable, down to earth, and loved to mix the old with the new.
